This work criticizes the prioritization of convenience in our contemporary world, how most are using an excessive amount of plastics and disregard the environmental impact. On a collection of 4 recycled plastic bags, the work presents an embroidered image of Nymphs and a Satyr by William-Adalph Bouguereau. It showcases a picture of a Satyr, conscious of his inability to swim, but distracted by his male gaze, endangers himself by entering the water with the Nymphs, relating how we are aware of our impact but are clouded by convenience.
